Post: Banning question for ps3

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hello ... I need a little help, because of the news we received these couple of days.
I would like to keep using the CFW I installed and played on, but don`t want to get banned. I don`t care about the online gaming now, cause I must agree to the new terms and conditions ... and I won`t do that. But if someone finds a way to play online ... I don`t want to miss the oppertunity, because I got banned early. So basicly I want to stick to CFW but not get banned 100%
So my questions are :
1. If I disable Internet from PS3 menu is that enough in order not to get banned?
2. If I need to transfer games to my hard drive via FTP will this lead to console sending information to SONY in any way ? What I do is connect my PS3 to my computer directly via Ethernet cable and transfer files via Filezilla. In the mean time I use the Wireless card an have access to internet.
So in other words ... do I need to shut down my router or disable wireless on my PC when I connect PS3 to my PC via Ethernet cable in order not to get banned ?
3. I`m not good with disabling MAC Addresses and so on with my router , so basicly that`s hard work for me ... but is there another better way for not getting banned , than what I suggested in this post ?

Hopefully I was clear enough about what I need to know and I thank all who read my post and try to help me in advanced !

P.S. And how can I check if I`m not BANNED already ?

I'm not by my console right now to tell you the exact settings, but in order to be able to FTP, etc to your PS3, while staying off the internet all you need to do is to change your default gateway address to a bad value. Your default gateway is an access point to another network - in this case the internet.

Say you are on 192.168.1.X network and your PS3 is 192.168.1.10 and your default gateway is 192.168.1.254 (your router). All your internet connections go through the default gateway, so if you change it to a bad value, say 191.168.1.254 (191 instead of 192), all your local connections will work (to your PC), but you will not be able to go out to the internet through your default gateway.
