Why do you need 3.66? + try psx

cause i need 3.66 firmware to update my brother's old ps3, my brother's old ps3 (3.66) didnt work to update, it gets an error "error 8002f14e" plus there's was no way to get recovery mode on that my bro's ps3, and i took out the hardrive in my bro's ps3 and i plug it into my ps3 (4.31) so, recovery mode works on my ps3 and restore it and i took out the hardrive then i plug it to my bro's ps3, recoverying mode works on my bro's ps3 (3.66) so, all i need is 3.66 to update it on recoverying mode then it will work!! well, i hope so.. and sorry about my english, but i hope you'll understand..

i couldnt find on psx (dot) com but thanks anyway,
