Why PlayStation Network Was Down?!?

I have made a tutorial on how to link your PayPal account. Link to my thread: You must login or register to view this content.

I called Sony and one of the workers told me the reason why PSN was down. Apparently, Sony had to "patch" some AR security glitches. However, that was not the main reason! Sony had now made it possible to buy games (or other content) with PayPal! Yeah that's right, Sony will now accept PayPal to purchase online games and other content. One last thing, Sony had to get ready for the new Black Ops 2 DLC. I asked about the new Skyrim DLC and the telemarketer told me there was no word on that. He did tell me that, during the first week of the release PlayStation users can get the DLCs' for half the original price! I recommend saving your money because it is said to be schedule in February! I was also told, I should check out the Dust 514 beta on PSN Store. Dust 514 is like Call of Duty (FPS) in space. I was thinking a Halo for PS3. Here is a link to the website if you want to know more about the game (Dust 514) You must login or register to view this content.

Update:
I looked for the beta of the game (Dust 514) and the game is out (Summer 2012) but not the beta! Sony needs to get their information straight. I guess there is no beta because the game is already out. Software updates and security updates were left generic to the workers. They (Sony workers) were not told exactly what they updated. I was told that they DID NOT get hacked. Adding PayPal just took longer than they thought. With PayPal added to the new system, there is more support towards other credit/debit cards.

Another Update:
I called my "friends" at Sony and they told me that PayPal can only be set up on their website. I checked PSN Store and you CAN NOT add your PayPal account on the PlayStation Store (Reason why I called). Sony were not able to accept PayPal credit cards (or whatever it's called) and they not made it fully supportive.

Another Another Update: Lol
Ok, this has gone off topic but I want to say the DUST 514 OPEN BETA IS NOW RELEASED. Sony kept telling me no and yes and this time it is official. It has been released; free to download.

That is all I was told and I will keep calling them for more information. Although, I usually prank call Sony and tell them they suck and so on.

I know, honestly PayPal should of been there years ago. Have you played Dust 514? I am curious about what's the whole game about.

They added PayPal support in North American countries. By the way, the update was not just for PayPal. They also patched some security glitches in the system and added the Black Ops 2 map packs for people who have the Season Pass (that is what I have been told by various workers).
