Thoughts?

So far it reminds me of MAG meets Warhawk.

Maps are a little tight, I'm hoping that the full version has more options for sure.
I will wait until I see the trophy list before I decide to spend any real time playing it

It's a fun game but i have three issues. The first is that the overall upgrade, marketplace system is too complicated. The second is that everytime i start the game, it has to download which is pretty annoying. The third is the load time, it takes way to long just load a single match. That's my opinion.

I think this game has true potential as long as the developers listen to the players.

My major issues I've noticed would be....

• Party System seems to drop the host or a random member while searching for battle
  
• When restocking dropsuits or buying anything in general sometimes the transaction does not go though and your stuck with the same amount of ISK and no item
  
• When the above problem happens and you spam the purchase button to get it to work, if you reset the game you will have purchased the item as many times you have spammed the buy option!
  
• Some area's of the maps you can easily get stuck and sucicide is the only option.
  
• Spawing for Ambush gamemodes are terrible as most of the time you are spawned around 4-6 enemys
  

Like I said this game has great potential and I know it's a beta but it's a wait and see

Whoa what the hell? Wasn't the Beta out back in October because I remember playing it then... unless it recently went public. Personally didn't care about it all that much since I'm not into the whole massive action game scene. And comparing it to MAG pretty much nails it on the head.

Yes RathHavoc beta went public last week and it does feel a bit like mag....

I totally agree... I find the marketplace a nuisance... far more complicated than it needs to be.

Again, I agree... I find the spawning system the sh*ts... half the time I ended up spawing right in the middle of a group of enemies.
I think they should have at least 1 covered (read: building) spawn point... so that it is less likely to end up being spawned in a group of enemies.

Yes I believe they released it to a limited few in October or November... but the Beta is now free download on PSN.
Never heard of it... but I was intrigued when I read that it was directly tied into EVE Online... apparently the macro-universe of EVE, is directly tied into Dust 514... when the full version of Dust is released, apparently the users of EVE can give missions to the players of Dust to complete.
Thought it was a neat idea.

And personally... not a big fan of MMO's... but I will wait and see what the full version brings before I decide to clear the hard drive space on my PS3! LOL
