How come Sony North America never does stuff like this unless there's a huge outage &/or peoples' personal information is stolen (yes, I'm pointing my finger at you, April 2011 outage).

Tell me about it lol, I guess SCEA knows that were willing to throw out our money for it because they know we want it and will throw down that cold hard cash at them. :p

On a side note for people without CC: You may not need billing information or Credit Card info to receive your 1 month voucher on Facebook, but you will need CC info once you try to redeem the voucher via the PSN Store, even though it's only a 30 day trial. :/

I guess they reached a limit, just like Sony France which only handed out roughly 10,000 on 1st come, 1st serve basis.

You have to wait up to 7 days to receive the code. It's not instant like the Sony France giveaway
