Multiplayer: I have close to 40days played on cod4, haven't enjoyed an online shooter quite the same since haha
Offline/campaign: GTAIV / The Last of Us

Multiplayer I would definitely have to say Battlefield 3.
Campaign would go to Dark Souls, hands down. This game quickly became one of my all time favourites after I started adjusting to the fact that I had to die, a lot, haha! Played it first time for a while, then left it for three months for being too irritated, and decided to give it a shot again later, and so glad I did
