(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); A couple of months back i reached 10th prestige on cod4 and i got bored so stopped playing, i made a new acc couple of weeks ago and now i play a game and have really good connection for about 1/4 of the game, then suddenly the game will go to 1 bar connection and lag terribly. It also randomly signs out (an error has occured you have been signed out of the playstation network).
Ive tried the following:

  • Moving router closer
  • reseting router
  • turning off ps3
  • bought new cod4
  • Restored ps3 to default
  • formatted HDD

I also know it isnt the host because it happens on every game. ive also contacted my internet provider and theres no problems.

Any ideas will be highly appreciated, thanks! :(

If you use a wireless mic, that may be the problem. I had that problem for over a month. It would kick me out of games, I couldn't host games. I heard that the motorola bluetooth mics are no longer very compatible with PS3's. You can go on the infinity ward forum. someone wrote a thread on a possible fix. It has to do with resetting your router port. Good luck. I ended up buying a wired mic. Fixed it for me, however the cord is too short.
