Well this is a long shot and probably won't work but I think the more people that try it the more sony may fall for it. Okay so anyone that has been banned knows exactly why they got banned; for using CFW, okay that's obvious but there may be a way to convince sony that you did not in fact use CFW. Bare with me, you have probably seen the PSID changer that can change your ID if you have a valid console id, however it also gives you the ability to generate a random id and use that. Now i know the chances of actually successfully generating one is about 1billion/1, but the fact this app has become pretty mainstream there are probably a good few thousand using it so the numbers drop to 1billion/3000~ and each person has probably tried to do it a few times which also increases odds. So here is my idea; you say you have been banned and didn't know why, you searched online and came across this PSID that someone could use to randomly generate "your" console id and get it banned. Now maybe at first sony will be like yeah ok whatever, but if it becomes a common complaint they may become a little more aware of it. I mean it could happen to someone although highly improbable. Obviously you could only do this once if it even worked, but if its your own private id you know to be careful with it.
Just an idea, i'm going to give it a try anyway. Thought i would share as i think the more people who get this "fake scenario" may force sony to take it serious.
tldr;
Convince sony someone generated your console id using PSID and got it banned.
Or you could say you retrieved your console id, gave it to someone and they got it banned. your ps3 hasn't actually used a custom firmware and i don't know if retrieving your console id is a valid reason to get banned.

Have Always Thought About This But I Belive Once An ID Is Banned They Cant Unban It.
Bullshit they can't unban it. Sony knows damn well they have a tool that automatically bans ps3s that have suspicious activity on it, and they know that it can possibly make a mistake. I remember seeing some picture of the Sony ban tool, and it had a slot for a PSN name and a choice for unban and ban.
Sony is just bullshiting all of you. They have the ability to unban you, but they wont/ They don't care after they ban you one way or another. They got their money's worth when you bought the system, and don't give a shit after that.
