I want to say, there was an article talking about the reason for the price differences between countries. It has something to do with taxation, and then actual governmental laws and how sales/price drops can be handled. We see the same thing here in the US, in regards to games being $49.99 online, but $19.99 in stores. And it is not always the US that gets the better deals. I've seen the EU PS+ destroy the US PS+ in terms of game offerings or sales. Granted, the last two months or so of US PS+ have been incredible.
