Although someone did hack it awhile back but they never said anything about it being used with modded software when they got it back for me. That account had every COD bought off it. Almost $500 worth of game dlc and movies on it aswell as $80 put it the wallet 2 days ago. So I dont know what sony's reason for banning me was. But they better give me my damn money back.

well you need to find out from sony why, they wont sit there and ban accounts for no reason

My guess is when someone "hacked" it for you they most likely stole your console ID and used it on their console to unban themself......then got yours banned as well.

The person who had the modded software might of gotten banned and left your account information in their system.

The account has to be game activated on the cfw inorder to get it banned. Otherwise it wont work

You expect your money back? Please dude, it is easier to get to know the Gods of the Olympus, God, Ra, Alá, Buda and travel in time, than that.
What you might try out is asking to Sony Costumer Support the WHY of the BAN and HOW can you get it back (if you can). Explain that they have recovered your account from someone who hacked it and he might be the one responsible.
Another thing, did you use any save to get trophies? Modded save or Platinum save? You lent you account to someone to get trophies via CFW or something?

Phone them and find it out, altought i'm pretty sure there is a reason.
