you need to get leadership points. i got the ability for squad leader at lv 16 not as sure of platoon leader or oic

Ok this may help, at around lvl 15 you get the ability to get squad leader but you normally dont get to picked to be a squad leader because all the lvl 40 players get picked becuase they are a higher rank.

But once you are a squad leader, if you start leading a team well and winning games while you are squad leader you get leadership points you can check these in the barracks under the leadership tab.

You need to win quite a few games as squad leader to become a platoon and i got to be platoon leader at about lvl 34 but sometimes i didnt get it till lvl 40, but i havent auctually got to be play as one because the experienced lvl 40s play it.

Summary: Just rank up and you will get the ability to be one that's all.
