(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Ok, I called sony at 4:30 pm today and paid $160 bucks for them to fix my PS3 because of YLOD. Does anyone know how long it takes? If it helps, I live in southern california.

It will probably take a week or two. Sony is good like that. If it was a failbox then it would take like 6 months.

Thanks for the info. Hopefully it gets here before MW2 comes out though. Im like seriously praying for that to happen. Whats a failbox?

Mines got YLOD today but it fixed it myself. I didn't want to give sony money to re-heat my ps3

You know you can fix the YLOD yourself instead of paying for it to be done. And watch out they might switch your drive so you could be lucky(happened to my friend)

LOL! Yh tru, i wouldnt giv them the money...so i paid sum else 2 do it 4 me Smile Not as much as sony tho
