For those of you concerned about the size and scope of any given open-world game, here’s a video that shows Watch Dogs’ map and what the drive from one end of its world to the other is like.
For comparison, driving coast-to-coast in GTAV takes roughly six minutes. Accounting for the brief stretch of being lost PlayStation Access’ Nathan Ditum and Dave Jackson found themselves navigating out of, it would seem that Watch Dogs’ digital Chicago and its outlying areas are comparable to Rockstar’s most recent jaw-dropping open world. This is all, of course, a rough approximation gleaned through topographical seen at the start of the video and the drive time itself.
