(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I say that thinking of all the problems i have just getting it to run , game runs like shit the "ultra" textures for what they are it makes no sense for a 3gb requirment of vram its like they didnt optimize the textures when they made them its more then likely uncompressed textures for the love of god if so ubisoft needs to put a free update with ones correctly done. That and it seems the game does not handle memory correctly its almost as if they ported the ps4 version and did nothing else just got it somewhat working . I have a gtx 780 i7-3770 and 8gbs of ram with the game installed on a ssd its not lack of hardware its all on their part.

Based on the reviews and pricing you're paying for a heavy discount.
Along with Ubisoft is putting not enough effort into the PC version, pop in and lower textures. Optimize for certain bits of hardware but it lacking overall when it comes to being optimized.
I have seen reports of people on titans finding it hard to get 60fps on ultra without it dropping to 30fps. Dual titans still can't get 60fps something is not right.
AMD users are reporting crash issues.

It's a shame to see for my PC brothers a game which is poorly optimized.

yea the textures look to be around 2048pxs at most for the ultra its kinda sad that and i even get crashing on it amd from what i was reading sent them a list of things that would help fix it on pc and they blew it off saying it was driver related

lol i hate that guy so much for many reasons but main one ill point out , ppl hate fxaa cause its inaccurate. well if you dont know why ppl shouldnt be playing pc games to start with lol, then he says he uses txaa over fxaa :/ txaa in watch dogs is more blurry then fxaa is and does a poor job applying aa to polygons

From my basic understanding that due to the boost in performance you get by picking TXASS over FXAA.
FXAAA does not help improve the look of the game as much as it should do.
Also the texture quality used also plays a factor in AA quality may be wrong and talking out of my butt but that from my understanding.

Also like that guy may disagree with his opinion, but he brings up some great points.

well tbh depending on the texture compression used and what layers are still in it decides how the texture filtering is done , through filtering alone you can get rid of a lot of aliasing in games which clearly watch dogs does at ultra textures fxaa is only post and is actually one of the most accurate forms of post aa there is if done correctly , txaa is only a temporal filter using the data from the buffer that the deferred msaa is sitting in so if your gpu is quick enough txaa 2x should be almost performance free 4x should cost almost nothing cause like i said the data is already in the buffer no need to re-cacluate for it again its a battle of bandwidth which is why txaa on watch dogs is a fps killer there is no memory to use it effectively anyway i digress
