(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); if i play using hdmi cable and plug av cables to an easy cap to a computer

will it work
and if so will it record hdmi quality or av quality

also what is best to use for easycap. av/s video etc

Do you mean having A/V and HDMI plugged into your PS3 but displaying on your T.V. through the HDMI and recording through A/V? If so, no...it won't work. You can only have one video-out setting on the PS3 at a time, so if you are playing with HDMI then that's the output method you have to use. So if you want to record with the EasyCap, you need to use A/V on your T.V. as well.

ya i tried it cuz my laptop has an HDMI output but the easy cap doesnt so it wont work.

and like cs said above u can only have input/output working at once. so unfortunately ur are stuck with low def recording...atleast from the cable anyways. the quality mostly depends on ur settings and easy capture device.
