I know, when I first saw that I almost didn't believe it was an EasyCap. After I saw a few other videos I was convinced. You probably have to buy $30 worth of cables though :p

The Easycap, Dazzle, Hauppauge and Intensity all 'intercept' the signal from the PS3 and capture it in the device (Easycap) or record it via a computer (Dazzle, Hauppauge, Intensity). The BlackMajic Intensity Pro requires you to attach itself to a PCI Express lane (1, 4, 8, 16).

The Easycap uses Composite and S-Video.
The Dazzle uses Composite and S-Video as well.
The Hauppauge HD PVR uses Composite, S-Video, Component and Optical.
The Blackmagic Intensity Pro uses HDMI and Analog.
