DEX And CEX same thing but DEX got more features which is good but some things are a load of crap like data transfer utility and stuff like that, soo i think both is same tbh, if u wanna switch it takes 2 secs just back up the files.

yeah i have less issues with psn and cex then trying to patch my dex system to work with psn all my hack work just fine with ccapi outside a few freezing issues i only have to use PSNPatch when i wont to play destiny and if i wont to use some DEX function ill just swap it in like 5 sec with rebug toolbox but mainly i stick on CEX for psn

On DEX you don't need spoofers to access PSN most of the time, while CEX users have to wait for some spoofer to be released after each PS3 update.

Overall DEX is for modders and Developers while CEX for avarage users.

yeah every time iv tryed connecting to psn on dex ( iv only tryed like 5 times) i just get timed out or unable to connect but ill have a go now just for argument's sake but still think its just my ps3 being on the broken side

You have to restore your original CID before going online, go to Rebug Toolbox > Utilities > Change Active PS3ID set it to "IED5: (CEX)".

Then you can log-in to PSN.

Well if you want to data transfer to an OFW you need to have a PS3 that's on CEX. That's the only reason I can think of. I used go on OFW to play world at war zombies due to the lack of a debug eboot existing for zombies but someone later told me to change single settings back to dual settings.

I was 2months on cex and i had no problems. I switched to dex and my ps3 had some issues. More frezzes or some games having blackscreens. But overal u can do more with dex.
