The patch can also be downloaded via web here for the North American version and here for the European version.

At the moment no patch notes have been released, but at first sight no large changes have been introduced to the system.

Update: the official Japanese website finally listed the update and its changelog, which is what many of you probably imagined:

“the stability of the operation of the system software has been improved.”

At the moment DEX users aren't receiving the update.

well, I'm glad to see they keep rolling out updates for the ps3

i dont want to do the update on my 3.55.. i just downgraded from 4.70. is there a pathway back into the network once updated? for now i cant go online

hi guys i need help my jailbroken ps3 asked for the update and well i knew you couldnt do the update straight from sony so i went on here and found the update but the patch so i downloaded it and thougt that would be what i had to do but after i gave the update to the ps3 via the usb well now i can get in my bop2 game the multiman is not working nothing is working...... HELPPPPP!!!!!!!!! did i loose my jailbreak what can i do to make it work again
