At the moment i have the ps3 with the clickable turn on button and it sucks because i can't jailbreak this version. It sucks knowing that i once had a ps3 that could have been jail broken but i ended up bringing it back to the store. Oh well. I guess its better to have one normal ps3 and one jail broken one anyway. I'll look into getting an old ps3 for Christmas and jail breaking that one. I wonder how well a jail broken ps3 will do in 2017 though.... would it even be worth it?

in my option the best time to mod a console is end of gen, I don't care if all my systems get banned personally, but once i stop working on the ps3 that means no more online on it so i'm gonna get the most i can out of the old gen systems before the next current gen models come out at that point ill decide whether to get the new version or old version of console and that will be the end of old gen for me online apart from trophies syncs , thats my option i think you should get a modded console for messing around online and offline till you get bored of it and then go to the ps4 or play both, modding gets boring i don't get people that mod games all the time but in saying that people probably say that about my making custom consoles or soldering ***** i enjoy the practical side though. That's why i like the xbox 36o and ps3, though modding a ps4 and xbox one design wise don't interest me but would be cool to have a dev ps4 that actually looks good any ways way off topic lol. i say if you want a modded console get it if it don't interest you don't worry about it
