In this thread i will explain how to connect your PS3 to a Media Server so you can simply load up movies, music and photos on your computer on your PS3.

Things you need:
1. A computer connected to the same network as your PS3
2. Windows Media Player
3. A brain

Steps:
1. Open up Windows Media Player on your Computer/Laptop
2. Up the top where it says Library, Rip, etc. there should be a little arrow pointing down, click on that then select More Options...
3. Now once another window comes up with diffrent types of settings make sure you have the Library tab selected and in that page of Options click on "Configure Sharing"
4. Another window appears thats were we stop for the moment for the computer...
5. Now head over to your playstation and click search for Media Server and once it finds your computer you are wanting to Share from select that and head back to your Computer
6. Now that you have selected the Computer for your Media Server on your PS3 on your window on Windows Media Player it should come up with either Unknown Device or Whatever your PS3 name is, all that needs to be done now is to Allow your (Unknown Device or Whatever your PS3 name is) to access your files (Media Share)
