Post: *HELP* Fixing These !@£% Blu-ray Drives.

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Right, anyone got any ideas about this. When i insert a disk the clock in the top of
the xmb spins, but no disk appears. Happens with all types of disks. The disk doesn't
move in the drive and comes out the same way. Problem is, its out of warranty and i
really can't be arsed to give sony £101 to fix it. Because of this i've opened it up etc,
the lens is fine and clean.I reckon its the motor in the part of the blu-ray drive.
Am i right? If i am anyone know where to get a replacement motor for it.
or... fix the problem.

try formatting your hard drive

This happened to my PS3 40Gb model about 6 months back, I payed the money to get it fixed by sony, They said it was something to do with the laser but no details, So they just put a whole new disk tray and laser in.
