Post: FOTNS: Lost Paradise - Ch.6/Ch.10 Glitch FIX! (HOPEFULLY)

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); So, if any of you guys have ran into the story progression issue, hopefully and MAYBE this will help you like it helped me so you won't waste hours of gameplay restarting the game.

Edit:

Okay, can confirm working (for those who have used "All Car Parts" cheat through Save Wizard)

To re-edit Car Parts items into "Junk":

1. Open save in Advance Mode

2. Find sequence of addresses with item digit "01" (there should be exactly 96 rows in sequence)

3. Once you find the 96 rows, find the item in game that you want to edit (being the WILD-001 Tires/Rock Crushing Bumpers), get the slot number of the item you will be removing.

4. In Advance Mode, from the first digit of the Car Part address, count down to the slot numbers you need to edit, and then change the "01" digit into "00"

5. Save, copy save over and then check results once in game.

6. Should now show as "Junk" in slots edited from "01" to "00"

Hope this helps. Cheers!

Also, not sure if it matters (and I didn't have to because I removed all of my car parts prior to editing in AM), but maybe want to unequip car parts BEFORE editing in Advance Mode.

I don't know if it will effect the game by editing those addresses if they're still equipped to the car- might break the save. Just FYI ya know. CHEERS!

This won't fix the issue with Ch 6. It was already tried on the JP ver and it didn't work. They even tried removing all parts completely and manually adding just the required WILD-001 as junk and it didn't work. There was some sort of 'flag' that once it was triggered, there was no un-triggering it.

Don't use the built in Save Wizard codes for All Parts until you have at least gotten past Ch 6. Best is to use them only in Endless Eden mode.

Well, for what it's worth helping- I had those parts equipped on the car but took them off before editing in AM, and that worked for me and allowed me to continue normal game progression. Haven't made it to the later chapter where you need the Bumper, but I imagine I won't have issues like the prior.

Also, the save I used was right before going to Xsana to begin the mission to go to the West Highland to look for the Tires.

Maybe that's just dumb luck or perfect timing having a save before doing the race that gives you the Tires, I'm just glad I can continue normal game progression.

I understand your save is the most assured way of not running into these glitches, but doesn't hurt for trying (especially for those who've gone through considerable amount of sub-stories already)
