Why not just change your own level?

I don't have a save with any different weapon rarities to test at the moment and I haven't played or modded the game in a while but if you take a look at the ascii field and locate a weapon name surely somewhere in that area you'll find the offset for it's Upgrade Level? Maybe find a common weapon (eg baseball bat) then buy a different rarity of the baseball bat and compare them in SW.

Test this, I found a game save that has 2 different broomsticks, I don't know if they're different levels, rarities or durability or not and I can't test them myself. But if you edit some of the offsets in BLUE maybe you'll come up with something, obviously the RED is just the item id and as far as I can tell there isn't different item id's for different versions of the same weapon so my best guess is it's on of these offsets.
