I would be pretty surprised if they did this again. As we saw on PS3, locking Souls game saves did nothing to combat cheating. All it did was make it so you couldn't back your save up. I always had a theory that some devs or publishers had an agreement with Sony to lock game saves in an effort to get more people to purchase PS+, because that became the only option for backing up saves.. Now that it's required on PS4 in order to play with others online, they stopped locking saves. Notice how Xbox 360 never had such a thing as locking saves, preventing them from being copied to a flash drive. Some publishers, like EA for example, locked the save of every PS3 game they developed or published. They only did this on PS3, never on 360. Always seemed pretty fishy to me.
