You can get the save wizard for PS4 Max and add every item and so on that way... just purchase it and install on your PC and it can help a lot. Maybe not help in terms of getting certain story trophies BUT it can help him get highly equipment early on and have not to worry about farming at all. Just grinding certain hunts over and over.
