Post: [RELEASE] PSProxy v4.1.0.0 (Update Bypass)
06-25-2016, 06:16 PM #1
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hello NextGenUpdate,

As I promised, I have made a Playstation 4 update bypasser. This little utility will allow you to bypass the 3.55 update making your system stay on a lower firmware.

Currently this has only been tested on a US console on a 3.50 firmware. To make this work for EU users all you have to do is edit the ps4-updatelist.xml included inside the .rar file from "us" to "eu". Also don't mind the PSP/PS3 Mode as those haven't been tested yet.

You must login or register to view this content.

Instructions:
- Press start on the utility.
- Add IP and Port to the PS4.
- Sign-In to PSN
- Profit?

How to download game updates, games, anything from the store etc. while using PSProxy:
1.) Get off the proxy
2.) Download your updates, and games or whatever you wanted.
3.) Once its downloaded, go back on the proxy and play your game.

Please let me know any bugs you encounter, I would gladly fix the problem for you. Smile

Changes in v4.1.0.0 update:
- Added Brazil support.
- Minimize to system tray
- Check for updates button.
- New 'Options' dialog and few minor UI changes.

Changes in v3.1.0.0 update:
- Fixed some few bugs regarding PS Vita support.

Changes in v3.0.0.0 update:

Changes in v2.0.0.0 update:

Do I have to change something in the settings.ini or download a xml-file? In the ps4-updatelist folder the highest firmware is 4.05 but in PSproxy it says bypassversion 04.060.000. First time using PSproxy so I don't know if I am doing something wrong.

Try UK Smile

The program crashes when trying to use UK. Both on 4.1.0.0 and 4.1.5.0.

Red has to update the tool. 4.06 fw just came out, so he'll have to implement a method to bypass the patch.

Works in Canada on 4.05 using US settings

I can play Dark Souls online, but Destiny won't connect.

I'm on 4.05 firmware.
My PSproxy says bypassversion 04.060.000 to, and like you the ps4-updatelist folder the highest firmware is 4.05

I think we need to wait for a update maybe

What's the problem?

Hey, ask and the man himself shows up!
Red-EyeX32, is PSProxy not working since 4.06 was released? Or are you still successfully connecting?
Thanks! Appreciate all you do.

I'm on 4.01 trying to avoid an update but just not having any luck. Thought the program was all temporarily broken but I have seen a few people say they connected...?

I think now it only works for one firmware behind.
For example, since 4.06 came out, you'll will have to be on 4.05 to make it work.

Gotcha. That fixed it for me. Of course, I'm going to be sad if a true exploit comes out in the next few weeks that requires 4.01.
thanks!
