It was zipped.Save Wizard can only read and import zipped files. I clicked on the file to import and it says no valid saves found for import, sooo I go ahead and extract the zipped file. It opens multiple folders with different saves. I go ahead and zip the folder/save I want to use but don't see anyway I can import that save. And it says the same thing! Please tell me what am I doing wrong? I didn't want to post this because people are probably laughing, but once I figure out what I'm doing incorrect I wont mess this up again.
You're fine and it'll work, it just sounds like a bit of a learning curve is all. I will help. I do this pretty often so there's no reason to be self-conscious about it. Might be easier if you reply in that Troubleshooting Thread, or send me a Personal Message. I might miss what you say in this thread. But for now:
Save Wizard can do more than just ZIPs. But that Import button, which is just one part of Save Wizard, that Import button can do just ZIPs. But this part is important: The ZIP needs to be in the proper format. You have a ZIP it sounds like, but that doesn't mean it's the right filepath for that ZIP. The correct filepath would look, for this CUSA, something like this:
ZIP file >>> CUSA06314 >>> PS4 save files
So here's what I'm doing, step by step. I just downloaded the save. I just extracted the ZIP file, fully, using WinRAR 5.71 (they are up to 5.90 now). Now the folder "RE REV PS4 US" is extracted, so I am looking inside of it and I see 4 more folders and a txt file (a readme file). None of those 4 folders are CUSA folders, so I know I need to dig deeper.
I am going into the folder "CAMPAIGN clear trophies". I see the zipped file "CUSA06314.zip". That looks promising. It is possible that could be imported without having to do anything else, but first I want to make sure. Meaning, I want to see what sort of a structure / filepath it has inside of it.
So I'm double-clicking on "CUSA06314.zip". I am not extracting it, just double-clicking on it, and WinRAR is showing me its contents. First up, inside of the ZIP, is a CUSA folder. The CUSA folder is CUSA06314. That is the CUSA of this thread so I know the thread has been properly named and as a moderator that makes me quite happy. More important for our purposes, I know that the CUSA folder is a properly named CUSA folder. If it had any extra text inside of it, like if it were "CUSA06314 - campaign clear" then Save Wizard would not see it as a proper save. That is because Save Wizard looks for folders and files that are in the same file structure as your PS4 would name them, and your PS4 would create a folder named CUSA06314 but not "CUSA06314 - campaign clear", see?
Now I'm double-clicking on that CUSA folder, so that I can see what's inside of it. Again, none of this extracts the ZIP, it only lets you see what's inside from within WinRAR. And inside of that CUSA folder are 2 files. These 2 files are PS4 save files.
All together, the ZIP file seems to have this structure:
CUSA06314.zip >>> CUSA06314 >>> PS4 save files
This means that ZIP file is already a proper ZIP for Save Wizard Import purposes. You can Import that ZIP as is.
In your post you mention that after you extracted the main download, you zipped something else. My strong guess is that is your issue. I just looked through all the saves here, and all the folders have ZIP files that seem like they should be ready to Import. Meaning, navigate through those folders and you will find ZIP files that CAN be imported. Don't import the main download, but extract the main download, and you will see folders inside of it and in each of those are separate ZIPs, and you can Import those.
This will all get a whole lot easier for you once you become familiar with the file paths of saves.
