Always best to quote someone to get their attention. I just stumbled upon this reply by accident.
Anyways.... Not sure what I can tell you
At the time, I had saved and back upped at the beginning of the 3rd HOS and every HOS after,
to be successsful to have a save of the HOS I got the Triple Luck trophy on
(I even included the screenshot proof of it in the save folder)
I also had tested the save on my alt account (with the others of course, and still got it)
It's more likely due to the time left for that HOS (3 need to be done within 10 mins),
So, you more likely need to be quicker on that HOS, and yes, it can be a p.i.t.a.
You can always try loading up the Dragon Sense save and work from there,
the bell HOS is not that far ahead in gameplay, you should be there very quickly
IF you're going to reload my Dragon Sense save, do what's in this spoiler....
Zoom on left wall, then click X on it (Screenshot in the save folder)
Puzzle: Hold O To Skip Puzzle. No Need To Do It
Pick up sleeping powder and shapeshifting potion
Mountain Path

(Reidso's Note: Try to click the Bell to see if it lets you walk up to area
below Bell to do the HOS, if not, just continue on with the info below)
Pick up direction arrow from tall grass in front of house
Zoom on boarded-up door
Pick up stick
Pick up direction arrow
Click papers until you pick up incomplete map, then back out
Zoom on stump
Pick up direction arrow
Click stump until resin is revealed, then use stick with it – get stick with resin
Click bell
Walk up to area below bell
Solve HO scene – get small chest

And no, I won't be doing another save for Triple Luck trophy,
I had spent enough time and effort creating this saveset already

It is weird how it worked for you that way
(does state at beginning of themindisacity's guide, the trophy is glitchy)
I didn't touch D-Pad, i just played normally LMAO
