Save works great, but you can't replay the story with it. I tried, and on the bridge when you have to dodge Taskmaster as Black Widow and shoot him, it depletes his health in one hit. The problem is it doesn't do the cutscene and go to the next part of the battle, you just stay on the bridge dodging and shooting. I did this for 10 minutes. If you let him hit you, you die in two hits, despite being OP.
