If you really want to help for "forever alone" make a save after the fight. (USA VERSION)
Right after the fight it's possible to save because the trophy is only given later.

Someone did this but the save is UK and it is not possible to re-region the other files.

I did not keep this file because it was not from my region.
I came to him through a youtube video. In this video there is a link to the save.
In the video he defeats the last boss, makes the checkpoint, exits the game and then returns to the game before the final choice (yes or not).

Did he wait for the checkpoint to be generated?
When the checkpoint is made, the sign appears quickly in the corner of the screen....
