Do you have the DLC pack or no, this makes a difference with being able to use the save?
no i dont have the dlc buti think you can use the save ether if you have the dlc or not
I have the dlc install works for me but i dont think it matters

For Mercenary Could you upload all other level SS Rank except the first Stage Village A Rank so its easy to get the trophy
Edit it seem fine if all S Rank we can still get the trophy according to this post from EU Save
Just finish one mercenarie stage on any rank to get:
- Legendary Cowboy (Achieve at least an S rank on all stages in The Mercenaries)
