Is it easier to just do it with a PS3 savefile? (I have a PS3 with the PS3 version of the game too)

Yes but you will need Game Genie to resign the save to your PSN profile

Is there a free program that works like SaveWizard?

Ain't no free programs that let you resign PS4 Saves

Game Genie? Most places I've seen said to use Save Wizard? Is one preferable? Or cheaper? lol

Game genie you use for ps3 saves and save wizard are for ps4 saves. The save that i posted is a ps4 save so you need save wizard.

Listen if its your save you can just upload it to the Square Enix cloud from your PS3 and then download the save to your PS4 since the save is cross platform between the PS3 and PS4

If the PS3 Save is not yours then you will need game genie

If the PS4 save is not yours then you will need Save Wizard

is that clear?

Doesn't matter FF X and FF X-2 saves are cross platform i can take your PS4 FF X save and upload it to the SQ cloud and download into my PS3 and which i can then use Game genie on the save then Upload the save to the cloud again from my ps3 with the mods i applied with GG and download that save to my PS4.

Sorry for the double post

and op sorry for hijacking your thread

Oh okay yeah that makes a lot more sense. This is my first time using a game save so I was a little confused.

I guess my last question is how do the trophies actually trigger when doing this? Are these game saves usually saved right up to the point before the trophy is obtained?

So for example, a trophy for this game is "master all sphere grids". So if I open the save file on my PS4 do all the trophies just immediately pop up or do I need to go into teh game and complete one more space on the sphere grid, etc?
