(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Like the thread title implies, how much are you willing to spend on the PS4 for those of us that plan to get it at launch day?

Personally, I would spend $450 and not a cent more, you also are going to need games to play any and possibly some accessories like a second controller, HDMI cable, etc..and of course, the 1st generation of PS4's run a high risk of malfunctions so you are going to need a warranty if you want to not spend for repairs.

All in all, for those of us picking up the beast of a machine on launch will easily go over the $600 mark, which in my case, i'd rather not, but I am willing to if i'm getting a game included at the very least.

What are you're opinions over this?

YThis was pretty much me back in 2006, i had a part time job so I was barely able to afford it, nowadays, i could easily buy a ps4 with a $500, but will it be worth it on day 1?I really hope it is Happy

Well all i know is i don't care how much it costs i can afford it. What I'm wondering is if one day it can have a form of jb of its own or a os sort of like the ps3 if that being the case im gonna buy 2. Keep one in its original state never signing in or load any updates on it.

Don't really care how much it will cost, but as all my previous consoles, I might not be buying it straight away as I think the launch prices are just too high and it takes advantage of its consumers.

I have seen friends and family spend a fortune on ps2 and ps3 pre orders, when I waited a few weeks and literally bought it a lot cheaper.

$800 for a bundle for me will be jolly good. Smile couple remotes, couple games, headset, pretty decent hdd, all the accessories etc.
