I've been reading some forms and they have been bringing up resting ps3 profiles if anyone can shed some light on this it would be much appreciated

Sony has not yet confirmed if they will be using the playstation3 servers , and yes many people said they will be using it and others will say they aren't . I don't think there is an specific answer yet

I think the old PS3 profiles will be able to transfer because I heard there will be more vita related things to do with the PS4, meaning the vita/ps3 profile will remain.

In my opinion, we should start fresh on the PS4. There isn't really a point in having the account since you won't get any downloads or content (unless Sony decides to put PS Plus)...

No news on it.
Based on the fact that all accounts now are under SEN, guess it just going to move over like the xbox accounts did to 360.

no im sure they wont be using ps3 servers they will be for ps3 lol

as for our accounts theyre SEN accounts now so they will im sure be used for all sorts of sony products, ie ps3 logins work with a ps vita which they both work with the qriocity website etc

I hope they reset it so we can get the user name that we really wanted but it was taken

or just implement the feature everyone wants, change psn id or display name.
