Personally i think E3 could be when they show the console, although it would be good if they showed the console early then used E3 to show off the games in abit more detail, and maybe explore the ps4 system more.

As always, you don't fail me. Thanks for the early information. I hope they do it quickly and say an exact date of release so people can manage to sell their games and consoles and/or start saving for it.

I would rather they waited until E3 but I guess they are afraid of competition at the event.

i wouldnt say they are affraid of competition, i think it'll be good to get the console out early so then at e3 they can explore the console and games alot more with more time, as you know half of e3 will be unveiling on the console then not much footage of games etc.

i hardly believe they are afraid of competition at E3, almost everyone is gonna watch both Microsoft and Sony regardless of being a so called fanboy of either system. i personally think Sony is doing everything right this time around we will just have to wait and see what happens next. im interested in both systems and am very curious to see what they both can and cant do. what it looks like isnt gonna make me choose one or the other. it comes down to which one has the best gear for gaming. i don't need a multi-platform for social networking, i need and want a console that puts gaming first.
