PS Vita Remote Play for PS4

The only exception for developers not including compulsory Remote Play will come if specific games need PS4 peripherals to work (like the PS4 Eye).

It’s a bold move from Sony, and one that looks like it will boost Vita’s appeal no end.

correct, it just means if you have one you can use it. its not a mandatory item to have so you can play ps4. what it means its required for developers to allow use of the vita, unless the game used something like the ps eye/move etc

At least this will make the VITA somewhat useful.

I hope they don't limit some games on the ps4 just to use this feature.

Good guy Sony doesn't forces you to use an extra item to be able to play.

While it seems like there will be more of a reason to buy a Vita I still don't feel like it's enough for me. Honestly just feels like they're pushing the Vita because it's not doing as well as Sony would like. There's a reason for that though...

I'm actually okay with this, because I think it'll stop games from being released on both consoles. I didn't want to see the Vita become nothing more than a PS3/PS4 port handheld. So the ability to play PS4 games via the remote play, means we'll see dedicated Vita games being developed, which is a plus in my book.
