(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Microsoft is allegedly paying many third-party publishers so that they won't show off their PlayStation 4 games at E3 2013, according to a new report.

E3 2013, the most important games convention out there, is set to begin next week, and both Microsoft and Sony are expected to focus heavily on their next-gen consoles, the Xbox One and PlayStation 4, respectively.

In order to gain the upper hand on Sony, Microsoft is apparently resorting to some unorthodox practices, like paying a lo this ist of money to third-party publishers so that they won't show their PlayStation 4 games either on stage or at their actual booths.

The report arrives from a source on NeoGAF You must login or register to view this content., which posted a lot of true rumors in the past, so it's possible that Microsoft really is resorting to such tactics ahead of E3 2013.

The company emphasized that at the event it's going to focus only on games for the Xbox One, so it could try to create a false sense that more games are coming to Xbox One than PS4.

right now i would not put it past them, the world wants to burn that thing they call a game console.

you know its really nice and convenient that Sony's conference Will not be on tv but MS and EA's conferences will be. instead of showing Sony's reveal on spike tv they are stopping E3 coverage and during Sony's event they will air Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story
if anyone cares they are owned by Viacom....ill let you guess who their biggest partner is.

it really doesn't matter about tv because most watch from the web. i just wanted to add it.

Why not invest all the money on the console and get more game developers for the Xbox One? Instead of doing this pathetic move.

Yea, for me it is true. They know this upcoming generation they are going to lose it, unless Sony fuck it up in the E3, what I find pretty much impossible lol.
I just hate how they don't want to lose, they do everything, at least if you are going to lose do it with dignity. If this rumors are get to know that are true, they have condemned themselves and will lose a lot of respect and prestige.

Fact. But as the console is almost done they cannot improve it, they would have to kick it another year at least and they will never do that. I can't believe how ambicious they are. Up to what point they've reached just to keep the few fanboys they've got left as most of intelligent people turned to PS4 of they were on XBOX before.

Wow nothing like throwing their toys out out of the pram!

Not long after discovering that Micro$oft also paid $750,000 to a certain reviewer to give The Last of Us (which is a god-damn masterpiece) a lower review score!

Honestly, with all the bullshit circulating Micro$oft right now, E3 won't change a fucking thing despite what hardcore Xbox Fanboys will say, if you do still find yourself wanting and handing over your cash for an Xbox One after what's come to light over the last few months, then you're a fucking idiot.
