With all the talk about whether Sony's lack of enforced DRM will hamper third-party support, Sony is actually in a position whether they don't have to worry about garnering third-party support at all. A complete list of games confirmed, so far, lays out all the titles we knew about and a few titles we didn't.

The list was compiled by Reddit user IceBreak and I have to say thank you, sir/madam, for putting the list together because it was on my to-do list but I just haven't had the time to do so.

What a crazy list, eh?

Many of those titles will also be launch titles, including but not limited to Skylanders, Watch Dogs, Assassin's Creed IV, Planetside 2, DC Universe Online, Warframe, War Thunder, Knack, Blacklight Retribution, Battlefield 4 and all those sports titles. Also, that's not to mention all the games Sony has yet to confirm for the PS4 during E3. That is royally insane.

It's likely that Dark Souls 2 could also be made available for the PlayStation 4, but nothing on that is concrete. Also the list is missing Avalanche Studios' Just Cause 3, but I guess since it isn't officially announced they didn't add it to the list.

With Sony opening up the doors for indies by scratching fees and waiving many of the red-tape certification processes, as well as allowing self-publishing and cheap access to PS4 tools, it means that the sky is the limit for their third-party support.

Even if Sony decides to completely avoid DRM as much as possible, opposite of the Xbox One, and they lose support from big publishers like EA, Activision and Ubisoft, similar to the way EA dogged Nintendo and the Wii U, there's enough third-party support from small and middle-tier development studios to keep the PS4 both fresh and intuitive for an actual broad audience of gamers.

E3 is definitely looking exciting and all Sony has to do is reconfirm what they've already confirmed and make it known to the public on the grand stage of E3 that the system won't have any restrictive DRM and they've got this console generation in the bag.

Awesome!! I will admit I am a bit concerned over the EA drama; I would really hate to seem them favor M$ in any situation... Specifically in the Battlefield series..

But, then again it just goes to show us which companies take the consumers into consideration and those who are far more concerned with our wallets.

If they f**k off fifa etc, it will be bad for em'...

I wonder how many of those games will be launch titles as I'm 90% sure that The Walking Dead: Season 2 is a TBA 2014 release. There's a few others on there that won't be released for awhile too. The list is looking awesome though. Black Flag, Diablo and Watch Dogs are the games I'm looking forward to the most...

I noticed GTA V isn't on that list. Do you think it will ever be ported to next-gen?

GTA V is bound to be a next-gen console game. Most people will be getting the new consoles. And it take ages to make a GTA so it will be on it.

I agree, I'm just surprised that so far it has not be publicly announced. It's only 3 months away after-all...
