(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Sony’s Head of Publisher and Developer Relations, Adam Boyes, took to Twitter this evening with a heartwarming message of thanks. He publicly reached out to the man who masterminded the recent #PS4NoDRM campaign on the social network.

“Thank you @ForYourPeteDodd for helping echo gamers messages through all levels of PlayStation”You must login or register to view this content.. He went on to admit that, although there was plenty of discussion around the issue, the passion of fans “really moved the needle” in favour of Sony’s popular decision to eschew overly-complicated anti-sharing and pre-owned prohibiting measures in favour of giving their customers what they asked for.

It’s lovely to see Sony acknowledge and revel in the interaction with their dedicated fan base and that currently seems in stark contrast to every decision Microsoft is making with regards to the Xbox One. Sony made some very impressive moves in their E3 press conference this evening and it’ll be very interesting, over the next few weeks and months, to see how Microsoft #dealwithit.

Now watch Microsoft, withdraw their blocks on used games, and the publishers lose out on their promised shares.

I repeat as in other threads, Sony cares about its customers, not as Micro$oft. Think that the PS4 bundle includes everything even the ear piece and Playstation Eye! Love Sony and proud to be a customer.

Today Will Be Different
Honestly Sony for as long as I can remember has been about the gamer. Microsoft has always been about the money and spending big bucks on getting DLCs and exclusives first which helped them gain an audience. If they didn't do that Xbox wouldn't have made it past the beta for Xbox Live back in 2005.

Sony is by far the superior company (and no I'm not a Sony fanboy) plus they aren't in the back pocket of the United States government. I.e where the idea for always on/always require internet connection came from.

The only problem I have is that you now have to pay for online.

In my opinion, it should be free, just as it is now.

it should be, but its not now, so either take it as it is or let it get to you
