The reason we couldn't change our names on the PS3, is that purchases were tracked by your online ID (hence the -'s and _'s), instead of your account ID (like they are on XBL) like it should've been.
With the PS4 coming, and alot of changes coming to PSN, it's very possible that we could see this become a reality, which I honestly don't see why it couldn't happen.

Yes i know that! people need to stop saying that! theyve said before when sen was psn that they couldnt do it. theyve added real names so they could add display names like the jap accounts or something

thanks alot! appreciated. yeah this is what im thinking! theyve no doubt done a overhaul of the current databases due to all the cfw business what has gone on so it could be something they could do..

Doubtful, Sony would still know who you are even if you change it.
