let me put this into perspective while you sit back and chill,
Playstation 4 is coming over the hill, but better still,
It's bigger n better and looking insanely ill,
So what's all the fuss about ps plus?
Is it really that much? or am I just being tough?

You got money for your console, money for your games,
Got money for weed and to pay for elite,
But still you're complaining about online gaming ,

$60 a year I hear, that's just over a dollar a week
You even get games to keep, enough to hoard,

But if you wanna play it you better pay the fees

As someone who has paid for Xbox live for over 3 years now, PS+ is STILL the better deal.
PS+ for a year is 60 USD
XBL for a year is 60 USD
That breaks down to 5 a month each, HOWEVER with PS+ you get Beta's, Free games, Discounts, etc. Things that XBL is considering offering, and has only started considering this here recently.
Think of it this way.
ALOT of people who were Xbox are now switching over to the PS. Xbox is losing alot of it's following in the next gen already, and unless they update out all the BS they've forced into the Xbox One, they'll lose even more. They might hold that COD contract for now (I know alot of NGU 'claim' they don't care about COD, but these same ones who 'claim' they don't care about COD are always playing it, so hush
), but I think with the next COD after Ghosts, assuming Sony isn't afraid to spend money in the next gen, Sony could take over that COD contract. Time will tell though.
When it came to online services this Gen, you truly did get what you paid for, and this will apply in the next gen even more than the current. I just hope Sony isn't greedy in the next gen, and will be willing to spend that money they'll be bringing in from PS+ sales. If they spend money, PSN will improve dramatically.
I myself, cannot wait for the PS4 to drop, as it's the first next gen console I'm getting. Sorry MS, too many turn offs from your new console for me.
