Post: The hidden truth about the PS4 !!
06-14-2013, 07:04 PM #1
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); The Playstation 4 is $399 in the US. When $399 is converted into the the pound sterling (£), it is £255. So wtf are we, as british citizens, being charged £100 extra?? Why should the PS4 be cheaper in the US??

What are your views on this guys, some may say that it is "only" £100. But wouldn't you want to buy like 2 games with that money??

It's pretty much ALWAYS like this with EVERY product, were you born yesterday mate?
Also for other Europeans, $399 = €299, pretty much all companies make their products the same price everywhere.

That's due to the whole tax issue and shipment.. I read this earlier today.. can't quite remember the source but I'm sure I'll find it and post it when I do.

There charging the same just ur money is worth more then. Ours well stronger. I have a buddy in Sweden that's comes to visit every year and for him when he shops here its like every thing is 20% discounted. So if our economy ever gets back up the money coversion would be the same .

I remember someone saying it was to do with tax, inflation, V.A.T, cost of living etc.
