We previously reported that the PlayStation 4 was way ahead of the Xbox One when it came to pre-orders on Amazon. The demand was so high that Amazon ran out of pre-orders (but they’re back online again).
Now it’s revealed that the PlayStation 4 pre-orders are currently outselling the Xbox One 2-1 at Amazon and GameStop, the largest games retailer in the world. That’s according to industry analysts tracking the gaming retail sector.
The PlayStation 4 had a successful E3, revealing that it’s not only $100 cheaper than the Xbox One — $399 vs $499 — but that it also supports used games and isn’t required to be online.
Amazon recently ran a poll on Facebook asking gamers which console they preferred. 95% chose the PlayStation 4 over the Xbox One.
A few days ago, Amazon opened up for PlayStation 4 pre-orders once again, adding several bundles. Those are still in stock, and Amazon guarantees day-one availability for all PlayStation 4 console and game pre-orders. So if you want a PS4 on launch day, now is the time to strike.
