lets say, the ps4 will be released 25th november (just an example) and I buy cod ghosts (ps3 version) on release day 1 and get to level 47 on a ps3 account, and on 25th november I buy the ps4 and cod ghosts for ps4 on day one aswell.

Do you think I would be level 47 on that account on ps4 straight away, or will ps3 and ps4 have separate servers and i would have to start fresh again?

I think this is a pretty intresting/important question as I'm sure that cod ghosts on ps3 will be exploited and hacked within weeks, and if the ps3 leaderboards and stats get ported 1:1 to ps4 i think the ps4 version is pretty much ruined..

You know, I'm really hoping it won't be ported as the ps3 hacks and mods would destroy a legit gaming feeling like it was back in the day on cod4 and waw, for the ghost players on ps4, because the new playstation will not be jailbreakable for a while. (all above counts for every game released on both consoles, not not call of duty!)

I guess the ps Stats will be Carry over. You also get trophies for PS2 Games.
So i think they'll make it like PS2->ps3.

About modding and hacking, ill think they'll find a New Way to cheat, Even Sony is more carefully.

and hopefully ps4 will be legit for a while, you know i love mods and cheats.. but lately some "hacking" has become too easy like the savegame mods for waw.. "

but if i play on the same account on ps3 and than on ps4, wont it load the same stats as its the same psn id? i would really love it if it would be totally separate bro

See, i don't know.

If you look at FIFA For example, you have an origin account, that is more or less the same as having a PSN account i suppose.
You have a EA Level account, and it's the same level on all EA games you play,being FIFA or any game required to have origina account.

Maybe the implement something like this, i don't know.
We'll just have to wait and see.

DICE was talking about letting you carry on progress from one console to another. Right now they are the only devs talking about it possible do. Would be nice not sure how many people would use it. Would love it because if got it again on the xbox one or PC leveling up again would annoy me.

how do you know? i mean it should be the same as because there both tied to the same psn account.

its a different console of course it will! they arent going to lose out on a chunk of the market, they wont miss out on selling the game twice. i thought this was common sence.

same psn account but im guessing there will be differant servers for ps4 so i would imagine it wouldnt carry over, or just buy the game on ps4 and have no issues
