It is being created by SOF Studios and the lead designer is Mr David Sears, the man behind the magic of SOCOM 1 and 2. The project has come to light via Kickstarter, and independant website, that allows people to get their project noticed and funded. He has started this project, but needs socom fans help in funding it. This is where you come in.

Were you one of the code 9'ers that got in on the act of cheating on the earliest of socoms on the ps2? Lost interest in the franchise and moved on? Heres your chance to help fund what will be a fantastic title and your chance to have a crack at either playing it as it should be, or giving SOF studios a run for their money at keeping the modding community at bay.

I thought this would be a great place to get the project noticed as im sure many of you here that like modding PlayStation's and games all had a crack at the previous SOCOM's!!

You can pledge as little as $1, anything you can would be fantastic and to what better cause? A modern day SOCOM!!
