just watch the video!
still havent worked out why cod still is most peoples favourite shooter!? battlefield 2 should have taken it from the cod series!
or is it they cant handle the amount of action in the matches they have to stick to their arcade shooter?
nevertheless hopefully ps4's raw power will make this game extremely stunning! and most importantly play smoothly!

DICE has released a new video showing how the Frostbite 3 engine makes Battlefield 4 better.
Frostbite is the game engine created by Swedish studio DICE's technical team. A number of EA studios are using it for their games, including Need for Speed: Rivals, Dragon Age: Inquisition and Command & Conquer.
But it's with DICE's Battlefield 4 that we expect the most striking advances, and in the video below members of the team explain these in detail.
DICE begins by showing how trees sway as a result of the wind and explosions caused by players. Getting trees to move in real-time as a result of the weather has always been tricky, but now it's now.
DICE then goes into detail on Levolution, the term used to describe how multiplayer maps change as a result of players blasting structures, including skyscrapers, to bits.
We're then told about networked water simulation, which means all players see the same water in the same position at the same time. Essentially, when a jet falls into water, it creates waves realistically that affect gameplay.
And finally we're told that character eyes, for so long so unrealistic in games, will finally look right.
Battlefield 4 is due out at the end of October for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One and Xbox 360.

COD has a low skill ceilling vs BF that said BF has made the skill ceilling lower to fight on COD level.
Pick up and play vs pick up learn how to do good. Both games have different markets in mind.
Looking forward to these changes in map design but they look pretty static.

I was never a fan of battlefield, but i must say that this just looks awesome.
I loved bf3, don't see why people are still into CoD, the battlefield series is just sooo much better on so many levels, when I get my ps4 this is defiantly the first game im getting
Because they are not the same type of gameplay! Nor are they supposed to be, COD is a fast paced fps with an arcade feel to it and lots of people prefer that over more realistic combat and physics. For a game to be fun it doesn't have to be ultra realistic. For example Saints Row IV isn't realistic at all but it looks fun and hilarious to play. The thing is people have different preferences and you shouldn't question why. And this was not a attitude or call you out kind of reply I am just answering what you said "I don't see why people are still into CoD." And glad to hear you'll be enjoying BF4.

exactly that! my cod mates cant stand it and say its shit, but really its because they cant even get a kill in their first few games they quickly assume the games crap lool SMH

The reason why COD is better is because it is smoother 60 fps if Battlefield gets up to that then I think it will be better.
ive not had any problems with framerate when ive played. cant even say ive experienced lag in battlefield 3, maybe once or twice in bf1
