“Why the only option right now is PS4″ states the cover, front and centre, with another bullet asking “How Microsoft Blew It”, with the subheading “The titanic errors on Xbox One’s road to ruin”.

It’s hard to say without seeing the magazine’s insides how much of this is recent (this is all fromYou must login or register to view this content. on their website that says “Sony crushed Microsoft at E3 2013″Winky Winky – it’s reasonable to assume the issue went to press You must login or register to view this content..

Even so, this is going to be on magazine shelves for a month – that’s hugely powerful PR for Sony as they try to attract pre-orders for the PS4.

Soldier.

From a general view, PS4 looks and sounds the better console. But in my eyes, even being a PS fan, the real test is how good the actual gaming is. This war has only just started really.

In Flames Much?
Xbox has a strong line up but made a series of errors first one was over the top DRM.
In time the death of boxed based disc gaming is going to come as we move to a more online system.
Some of the things xbox did before removing them was pretty cool like cloud storage of your games.

I agree that Sony won on the PR front , the real test is games. Xbox has a strong line up so round one to PS4.

i agree with what you say. more and more are downloading games now. hell ive been downloading day one AAA releases for about a little over year now on PS3. i havent bought a disk based game since. with that being said i can see where and why MS was shoving DRM in our faces, i was a big complainer about it but i had to step back and look at why and i understand now. i think they could of approached the issue different and explained exactly why they needed to do it they way they were doing it. only time will tell where this magical cloud gaming will take us, the funny thing is Sony has "cloud" also but are now where what MS can do with theirs.
im hoping the games will be great this gen, the only game im kinda intrested in from MS right now is Quantum Break, most of the games they showed at E3 are multiplats. i really could care less about titanfall, i think that game is all hype from MS respawn/ea. i dont think we will see the really good games for about a year to 2 years into the life cycle from both consoles. idk, this is just my opinion and my opinion can and mostly will change as the time draws nearer to holiday.

ok, i don't know why i couldn't add this to my previous post, it wouldn't let me high-lite and quote without creating a new post instead of adding to my other. any ideas why???

thats a pretty damning cover lol, i dont think it would sway favor to the ps4 from the core gamer base, they are already informed about what has happend and most keep up day by day. this however might effect sales from those not inclined to keep up, like mom and dads buying for their kids etc... but its so damn early i dont think this will matter in the end, we are over 4 months away from launch and im sure both companies are prepared to move mountains to make their consoles the choice to buy. im just excited to get this new gen started.
