PS4 Disc vs Digital or Both
Digital:
This gen will be making digital copies more appealing with access to your digital library on any system and up to 4 people can be logged in to one profile at the same time , remote play with a ps vita from a digital stand point is the best way to go.
On the downside once you bought it, its yours for life no buy used or trade options and digital pricing, from what I have seen digtal prices tend to be 10 dollars higher when places like walmart and gamestop tend to cut the price after 90 days of the release date on most games. right now I can pick up some games at walmart for 19.99 and ps store still asking 39.99
Physical Disc:
On the other hand disc still have there appeal no/slow internet, A disc doesn't need it and you can buy used or trade in old games at will. theres a certain filling you get from physically owning a disc vs digital own copies
you don't have to give out log in info or lend out your profile to lend a game out
the savings can be huge during the holiday season ie (Black Friday) AAA titles that released in September to October often go on sale for 29.99 and buy one get one free deal are hard to beat and offseason if you know where to look you can find used copies of games that are just over 60 days old for as low as 39.99
On the downside the only thing I can think of is remote play the only game you can remote play would be the one that's in the system
For me im going more digtal this coming gen i dont trade my games and i dont buy used games so theres no real lost there
but limited to the type of games mmo's for sure will be digital where is sports title will be disc copy or i might go digtal for all day one titles and go disc for anything that im willing to wait on for a better price i cant wait to use remote play with my vita
edit: On a side note I was polling outside of the playstation plus program, like i said in a early post with ps+ factored in everyone would say both
So if we can't access our account, we can't play our games? So the games won't be playable offline like the games on PS3 when offline? Because I do that a lot.
if your main system is offline you cant access your games at a friends house , but if your at home it works pretty much how it works with the ps3 once downloaded and installed to your ps4 you wont need to be online

Well, there are MANY countries out there who don't have good enough internet to download GB's of games. This is why the gaming industry should stick to disc based games until the whole world can at least have a 10mb/s connection which is affordable. They'd lose customers from Egypt, i'll tell you that.

Disc for major games that I'll play for at least a year such as BF4 or GTA5. I prefer amazing single player games for digital downloads and with digital me and a buddy could split half and half for a game. Very convenient.
Even though I have 5Mbps internet, if I had to chose I would want only digital media. There is nothing stopping you from downloading overnight, and it would put an immense amount of pressure on internet providers to stop with their shitty capping of data before angry customers start switching to other ones that offer capless service.
The main reason I want it is so that it could be a Steam-like platform. You sync your purchases with Steam (so that if anything ever happens to your hard drive you can still re-download them). This would eliminate huge shipping costs and is the main reason why Steam destroys the console values of games and can offer huge deals at fractions of the cost. You are also able to make backups of your game to external hard drives so that if your hard drive does crash and you don't want to redownload it.

No it wouldn't because most places are in a 1 ISP monopoly. I think once google fiber starts going up in to more states that statement would be true. In my case I have Version or Timewarner Cable. FIOS isn't in my area so its either slow ass DSL (which is cheaper) or I can stick with TWC's bullshit and have 50 / 5 put with their their constant problems.
