Sony confirms that gamers who have already bought the PS3 version of specific games such as Call of Duty, Battlefield, and Watch Dogs will be able to purchase the PS4 version for a severely discounted price. Sony did this to "reward gamers for their loyalty" and to ensure the system is as "simple and accessible as possible."
Sony was unable to do this without consent from the companies involved, and they obtained the permission of publishers such as Activision and Ubisoft. Sony seems to demonstrate consistently they know what consumers want. Although the games won't be free, the discount should be well received by gamers.
Great news for those who cant be bothered to wait! Also bear in mind that you will buy the PS3 version as a hard copy, then when PS4 is released you will have a time frame you will be able to buy the game '

igitally' on the PS store at a big discount and what i think makes it a lot better is you can trade the game in.
Not so good for those who want hard copies of their games collection.
