(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I purchased mine like 3 months ago, and just kinda assumed that the mic should work with the ps4.

But does anybody know for certain?

Like some people already posted, yes. Sony said it would be compatible with the PS4.

I think that they will function fine as a microphone. But for game sound, I don't think it will work.

Wireless headsets should be fine.
Wired may have issues with the connectors, at this stage we don't know what they plan on doing. I did see talk about having to use a converter for controller being needed. Mics no longer work by USB direct controller connection only aka jack.
